  • Prepare legal briefs on economic treaties, agreements and MOU's with other countries and international bodies. This exercise is done to ensure that said agreements do not violate Kuwaiti laws and constitution.
  • Review any agreement Kuwait is about to sign with other countries from a legal point of view to ensure its conformity with local laws.
  • Analyze the legal dimensions of the issues Kuwait is about to discuss in any regional or international forum before these meetings are held, through position papers submitted to Kuwaiti negotiators.

The State of Kuwait in coordination with the UNDP strives to enhance the institutional efficiency of the Ministry of Finance/International organizations sector in dealing with macroeconomic analysis in conjunction with international bodies of specialty. In this respect, MOF intends to recruit an expert in Macroeconomics with special emphasis on International Relations, or equivalent disciple to assist the Sector in its functions and enhance its performance.
